The following photos were taken at Moon River Ranch this weekend. I was there for a wedding and had some down time just to create. All of the images here were shot with a Nikon 105 macro lens. They are all straight from the camera with some minor contrast tweaks, some vignetting, and sharpening in Adobe Bridge. I had a great time creating these images. I’ve been so busy lately with client photography that it was great to unleash my creative eye and just do something for myself. I hope you enjoy the images. I’ll be producing them for purchase in the near future.

Daniella the elegant rock star

Danielle was great. We photographed her in Deep Ellum near downtown Dallas, TX and a few other place around town. It was a fun day and we had a great time photographing her. She is both fun and beautiful, so it was an easy job for me! Her images came out amazing and I loved the color and texture we created with light. Being a photographer in Dallas, TX is a lot of fun. There are so many cool places to go and so many great people to work with.

Koko the violinist

Koko is an incredibly talented violinist. Just hearing her play as we photographed her for an upcoming performance blew my mind. To hear such incredible music while shoot was incredibly inspiring. Not only was Koko’s music beautiful, but she was stunning as well. It was a great day of photography in the studio here in Dallas, TX. Photographing such great clients makes my work as a photographer so much fun. I hope you enjoy these.

Sara is a professional dancer in St. Louis, MO. We shot these casual portraits and dance portfolio portraits at a friends studio in Dallas, TX. We had a lot of fun and I was amazed by her talent! Today I photographed Cassandra on a ranch in Cleburne, TX. I normally photograph clients in Dallas, TX…but today I had the great opportunity and pleasure to create some beautiful images for Cassandra. She was beautiful and very easy to work with. Her portraits turned out beautifully.

Taylor the beautiful

Taylor’s mom is a friend of mine from the neighborhood. She asked me to take some portraits of Taylor to commemorate her 21st birthday. We went to a park in Highland Park and shot these of Taylor and her brothers. She was absolutely beautiful and her personality and attitude was off the charts (in a good way that is)! I had a great time working with Taylor. She was fun, energetic, positive, and looked like a diva…she just didn’t act like one. I have too many beautiful portraits to choose from. Fun with Luke

Luke is the studliest baby I know. He has more hair than I do. This morning Craig and Laura came over to have some portraits made. We took this portraits in Dallas, TX to capture his handsome good looks for generations to come! Portraits of children are always like gambling…sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. Fortunately, today we won and captured some wonderful images of Luke and his parents.
